Where can I get personalized hair tips?

I'm not looking for hair color I should dye my hair or looking for a good hair cut/style. I'm just fed up with dealing with my wild curly/wavy hair and it looking like a train wreck. I want a professional to give me tips on how to maintain my hair. Understandably there will be product suggestions, but I rather not feel pressured to buy all the products on the spot. But where do I go?Where can I get personalized hair tips?
I would suggest finding a salon in your area, and sticking to it. Always book witht he same stylist, so that they know your hair better and have ideas of what would look good, etc.Where can I get personalized hair tips?
For christmas last year, my sister took me to Ulta to get my hair highlighted. If you make an appointment to get your hair done you could probably ask them then or you may not even need to make an appointment just go in and see what things they recomend for your hair type =]
You can go to your hairstylist, or you can look in certain magazines like Seventeen Magazine and they have hair tips for every different kind of hair, curly, straight, etc. And they give make-up tips too. =] good luck !

You can head on down to the hair salon and them for their advice or you can email professional stylists. Just go to any random hair site and they generally have a ';contact us'; or ';email us'; icon.
