Wavy hair tips without using curler?

I have very thin hair, medium-long, with a lot of split ends... I straighten my hair almost everyday. I want to sometimes go to school with the 'wavy' look, without using curler/straightener. I'm ruining my hair with all of this heating crap. Anyone have tips on a good wavy hairstyle, without using a curler? Please help!Wavy hair tips without using curler?
1. When your hair is wet put it in plaits and let it dry and then when you take your hair out of the plaits it should be wavy.

2. Get some hair mouse (most shops have it) When your hair is wet put it in your hair and scrunch your hair!

Hope it helps!Wavy hair tips without using curler?
SOO MANY WAYS! Literally, the possibilities are ENDLESS!

-Using a curling iron; Use it the way you curl it, but don't use the clamp

-Using a flat iron; Yes, it's possible (: And there are many ways to do it, just experiment!

-Scrunching your hair; When your hair is wet, use a scrunching spray and scrunch hair. Experiment different ways to do this. Using mousse %26amp; Hairdrying it while scrunching. Etc.

Also, without the heat ;

-Braids; The night before you want wavy hair, braid your hair (experiment with the loose-ness of braids and how many you make)

Take the braids out when you wake up for cute waves!

-Use a waver; I just discovered this a few weeks ago, but there is a waving iron (kinda like a flat and curling iron!)

ETC!

I know I included heat products, but I just wanted to provide all of my knowledge just in case! If you use heat protectant, it won't matter!
