i have curly hairy dont get me wrong-- i LOVE it but i just cant handle it any tips you would like 2 share with me???Does anyone know any really good curly hair tips that i could do at home???
Yes! Very easy to manage!

There are just two ingredients you need to ensure at the very outset - the right hair cut, and the type of care that your curly hair really, really needs to retain its style.

Curly hair is completely different from straight hair. Its structure is different and its needs are different.

Curly hair demands a different approach.

It begs for understanding.

And curly hair is very forgiving. Maybe you've abused it all these years, trying to mould it into styles it was never meant to resemble.

But the moment you decide to meet your curly hair half way, it rewards you with head-turning, breath-taking, beautiful hair styles.

Like Bryn's curly hair style, pictured here. Bryn's a Canadian girl who kindly submitted her own curly hair photo for display on our site.

Curly hair styles that look wonderful are the natural result of combining those two essential ingredients - the curly hair cut, and the curly hair care.

One ingredient is out of your hands, quite literally, and that's the cutting.

You can't cut your own curly hair.

It's not recommended, anyway.

But you can certainly choose who does cut your hair, and the choice you make is the key to your future success with curly hair styles.

A stylist who understands and respects your curls, and who also knows how to cut your hair in ways that flatter your face, is like gold.

Find a stylist who can handle curly hair and you're half way home.

That's the first ingredient.

The second ingredient for beautiful curly hair styles is well within your control, and that's the way you look after your curly hair.

That doesn't mean you have to adopt some onerous routine, either, like brushing your hair a hundred times every night. Don't brush! It's fatal for curly hair! And don't comb it either. Throw all that stuff away!

Taking care of your curly hair is more a matter of lifestyle and understanding.

It's no harder to maintain curly hair than it is to manage other hair types. In fact, once you get your curly hair right it can actually be much, much easier.

As Rachel, pictured here, says of her curly hair care routine: ';I just wash and condition it with lush products which don't contain chemicals, brush out the knots, scrunch it then leave it to dry.';

Rachel's from England and, like Bryn, has kindly submitted her own curly hair photo for us to display. Read more of what Rachel has to say in the Blog.

And the styles you can achieve will blow your mind.

It's worth the effort and understanding. The proof is in the pictures.

If it's pictures of curly hair styles you're looking for you've certainly come to the right place.

We've even got a page of silly hair styles. But that's just for fun.

The links on our menu bar will take you straight to our free pictures of short, long, medium and natural curly hair styles.

And wavy hair styles, which are really just curly styles in disguise.

And pictures like these gorgeous curly hair style photos submitted by Kristine.

Originally from the Philippines, Kristine now lives in Florida. To see more curly hair pictures of Kristine, check out the Blog.

With all these curly hair pictures to choose from, chances are good that you'll find some ideas for styles that will not only suit you, but have heads turning as you pass.

i have curly hair and i love it.

i use pantene pro v curl shampoo and conditioner.

while the conditioner is in, comb thru your hair. this helps your hair not frizz up.

then when i get out of the shower i put stuff called INFUSION in my hair. next i shake my hair to get the liquid thru all my hair.

i next use PAUL MITCHELL MEDUIM STYLE LOTION in and shake it again.

there is no frizz and your hair doesnt look wet.

it look great and it only takes about 3 minutes at the most.
i have curly hair as well. Some things that i do to my hair to make it look good are...

put it in a messy bun while its damp. Leave it up for about an hour then take it down. I have no idea how it works, but it does lol.

Also, my hairstylist told me once to twist your hair in sections while it wet to create perfect ringlets.

Or last but not least braid your hair while its wet at night, and take it out in the morning. It still gives your hair volume and nice waves, buts its not overwhelming!
