Chemically straightening your hair tips and advice?

i have an appoitment to get my hair chemically straightened, and i know it causes damage but what are some ways to help the damage, like and hair reciped tips or advice? anything that will help

If you blow dry, or even if you don't.. An amaaaaaazing product is Sebastian (%26lt;----brand) Potion number 9. You spread it through your hair before you blow dry especially on the ends. It doesn't make your hair gresay at all and it keeps it smooth and healthy, prevents split ends and even smooths down split ends you may already have. i got mine chemically straightend. OMG they did a terrible job and burned my head.


but if u are gonna get it done, I reccomend not combing ur hair that day and not washing it a week prior to when u are getting done. only because ur scalp needs oils to protect it from the chemicals burning it. Make sure the place u go to are professionals and have done it plenty of times.
if you have colored your hair it will change the color of your hair.


I had it chemically straighten and it really dries it out. I guess any kind of leave in conditioner would be good.
