Growing thick and healthy hair tips for Afro-American hair?

I decided I was going to really treat my hair right. I am relaxed. I wait about every 14 weeks before each time I get a relaxer and maybe longer. I recently through out all hair grease. I deep condition once a week.. I do have bleached hair (honey blonde and I still have black hair) I take hair, nails and skin vitamins. I get ends trimmed every 4-6 weeks. I have shoulder length hair. Does anyone still have any tips???Growing thick and healthy hair tips for Afro-American hair?
have to keep it moisturized. To grow my hair I have been using fermodoyl(for chemically treated hair) I put it in all of my IC treatment hair products. I also use silk elements shampoo, conditioner and cream to help prevent breakage. go to this website and she has tips, as well as pics on her own hair growth and the products she used. She is also on youtube.

lettin the shompoo and conditioner set in for the time it says on the bottle before rinsing helps, as does brushing or moving your hair with your fingers to the front, back, side and side, it stimulates growth and whatnot (my hairdresser gave me a guide when i grew out my hair for locks of love) and try not to hold it back with a tight schrunchie, and wash your hair immediatly after being in the pool, chlorine is a horrid thing for hair. also keep a sharp lookout for what different shampoos and conditioners do to you hair and their side effects... ok thats all i can remember for now.. good luck!
i think the more frequesnt you deep condition, the better your hair will turn out and use as many products you can for your specific hair type.
