find a friend that can help maybe or a black hairstyleing place... maybe if your kind of good at it get a black baby and practice doing braides..... this is a very good question though!!!... look on google for hairstyles...

good luck

and congrats on the baby
i have all my 4 childrens are mixed and their hair.... except my last baby boy his hair straight but strange!!! anyway i m using condition with water in bottle mix and spray on hair to comb make soft not hurt.. newborn let it natural hair curly.. maybe u can know how to put ponytail but ask anyone who know how to fixed ask them to teach u... i do know everything like braiding.. and much more i learn in my mother s side family.. even thouigh i m white.. my mom side family all are mixed
Great question! Both my children are biracial and I have had the worst time finding anything for that works on their hair. My ex seems to think that my daughter has black hair, and she doesnt, it is very fine, very curly and WAS down to her behind!

He let his sister do her hair on her weekend visit and used Pink oil, it dries her hair out to the point of breaking....it was soooo knotted, I could not brush, comb or pic it out...I had to cut about 10 inches off on Sunday...we were both in tears!!!!!!

There is a line of products by Mixed Chicks that works very well,(expensive) also the fructese line of leave in conditioners.

Now my son has big loose curls and it is very fine also, I use the fructese leave in conditioner on his also.

Congrats on your new little one.
it would be best to ask his mom or sisters if he has female siblings that could show you or other family to show you and advise on products that could help with hairstyles, etc.

and yes, practicing at home regularly would only help you know how to do it better.
comb it LOL seriously as long as the hair is moisturized it will look good. Just take your time and practice thats the only way to get good. It may sound dumb but practice your french braiding on baby dolls
Thank you for even thinking of this! So many moms opt for the short fro because they don't know how to do their daughter's hair. It becomes important on the playground!

1. If you have a black girlfriend who does hair, have her teach you. PRACTICE on her kids.

2. If not, find a black salon %26amp; take your daughter there.
